CENTER STAGE BOOKING
Bruce Hudson - Vocals - Lead Guitar

Bruce started singing at the age of 2. His mother was a church pianist and Bruce would accompany her from time to time. By the time he left high school he was a pretty accomplished musician on the saxophone, piano, guitar and bass. He went to Southwest Texas State University for a couple of years and instead of spending his time studying, like he should have, he chased girls and caught a good one named Julie. Thank God - and miraculously - she agreed to marry him. Besides chasing Julie in college, he also managed to improve his technique on the bass guitar, jamming with the likes of several members of George Strait's Ace in the Hole Band at Nephew's in San Marcos. He left college for while, working as a professional musician playing with various bands all over Texas. He finally got a "real" job as a border patrol agent but that prevented him from playing music and having ample time for family life. Bruce has finally found the perfect blend of work, family and music.
He spent quite a bit of time in the backline of several bands, but had always wanted to front his own band, so one thing led to another, and Bruce Hudson and the Most Wanted Band was born. It's his love of good old traditional dance hall music that bought this band together.

MOST WANTED BAND
Joe Vickers - Vocals - Rthymn Guitar

Joe Wayne Vickers (Guitar, Vocals) is a versatile instrumentalist and vocalist, comfortable in any musical style, and on several different instruments.

He did not display any inclination toward music until he was encouraged (translation: forced) by his parents to take piano lessons at age 12. He then joined the school band, and had taught himself to play all of the brass instruments by the time he had finished high school (before the "band geek" references start to fly, he also played four sports in high school). He continued to play the tuba, euphonium, and trombone at the collegiate level, and in the meantime had picked up the guitar.

Joe is completely self-taught on the guitar and bass, and has played and sung with a variety of bands and combos. For many years, he also performed as a solo acoustic act. In 1984, as half of a vocal duo called Waco, he traveled to Nashville to record an album of original music that met with critical, if not financial, success. He has most recently performed and recorded with Jess Mills and the Last Resort Jazz Combo.

Musical influences, to name a few, include, Bob Wills, Guy Clark, Don Williams, David Clayton Thomas, and Robert Earl Keen, Jr.

Joe is a graduate of Abilene Christian University and Baylor University School of Law. At the urging of his family, friends, and others who have heard him sing and play, he has maintained his full-time day job as an Associate Judge for the Fourth Judicial Region of Texas.

MOST WANTED BAND
Jimmy Zuniga - Bass Guitar

Jimmy is from Pleasanton, TX where he spends his days as Dr. Jimmy Zuniga of the Atascosa Chiropractic Center at 1240 W. Oaklawn, Ste. 107 across from Homann Tire and Newman Glass. (Figured this was a good place for a plug!)

Jimmy started playing guitar about the age of 12 and actually didn't start playing with other people....musically that is...until college at Texas A&M. It was there where he met the great bass player Greg Modesette and 90's country music phenom Rick Trevino. Rick didn't play guitar back then so Jimmy played acoustic rhythm guitar while Greg whispered the chord progressions in his ear. This was before Rick's Nashville days so they played swanky gigs like apartment parties and family picnics for crowds of 2 up to 30. The Big Time!

Jimmy took a vacation from music through the rest of his college years and started up again in 2001 playing rhythm guitar and then bass with his brother in law's classic rock band, Legacy, out of Houston. He later met, Scott Matthews and Jay Morris and played bass for their Americana band, Spur 53. Infighting and lead singer syndrome took over and the band eventually folded. Jimmy developed a reputation as a solid and reliable bass player and then jumped in with San Antonio based Jokers Wild, playing Top 40 country and a lot of 80's rock. The Jokers were fun but Jimmy needed something a little more local. He then stumbled onto Richard Wells and Joe Wayne Vickers forming "Richard, Jimmy & Joe" which later evolved into, the Maalox Cowboys, then Joe Wayne Vickers and the Bastard Sons of Grandpa Jones. They joined up with Bruce and formed Bruce Hudson and the Most Wanted Band.

Musical influences include: Ramon Ayala y los Bravos del Norte, David Lee Garza y los Musicales, Ray Price, Merle Haggard, M..MMmm mmM Mel Tillis, Steve Wariner, AC/DC, Van Halen, the Scorpions, Metallica, Los Lobos, Creed, Jimmy Buffet, Los Lonely Boys, Robert Earl Keen, Randy Rogers, Tito Puente, Gene Watson and of course Bob Wills. How’s that for variety?
MOST WANTED BAND
Gary Cumpian - Drums

Gary was born in Pleasanton, Texas and was raised on a farm and ranch near Charlotte, Texas his whole life, and presently lives in Pleasanton. When Gary's not working as a Site Manager at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland AFB, he's entertaining people on stage playing drums on the weekends. Gary found his musical talent from his brothers, Roger & Eugene, and sister Jo Ann, who played acoustic guitar, steel guitar, base guitar, lead guitar & piano. Gary's parents, Roger & Mary Jane Cumpian, loved country music so much they decided to purchase musical instruments for their kids and bought them guitar, fiddle and piano lessons at an early age. Gary started playing the piano and fiddle, but decided he enjoyed drums more. He started playing drums in Third grade. Gary's band director taught him everything from reading music, beats & rhythm, quad drums and cadences through out high school. After high school graduation, Gary went to college at Texas A&I in Kingsville and then to Texas State College in Harlingen, where he continued to play with many country and rock bands, just like he did during high school. Back in the 70's, Gary played with fiddle player Roger Gillespie who is currently with the Most Wanted Band. I'm blessed to be part of this group of guys; Bruce, Joe, Jimmy, Roger and Randy make it all that much better. Gary and Jimmy also play in the church choir at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Pleasanton, Texas on Sundays. "We love to jam for Jesus at our church; it just gives everyone that warm feeling inside" Gary says," music is my life."

MOST WANTED BAND
Roger Gillespie - Fiddle

Roger was raised just outside of the small town community of Leming, Texas, where he spends most of his time as a building and remodeling contractor with Gillespie Bros. Construction. His hobbies include hunting and working a small ranch operation in the Leming area. At the early age of 10, he began to take notice of an uncle playing the fiddle by the name of Leonard Kosub. Leonard felt that his nephew's interest in playing was to be nurtured, so he bought Roger an old $10 fiddle. As the next several years passed, Roger was influenced by the late Bud Thredwell, who was an excellent fiddle player who played with Charlie Pride. By 1973 Roger began playing with the Mystik Cowboys during his high school years. In the next 35 years, Roger played with bands such as Golden Notes, Sweetwater, Western Hearts, Texas of Sequin, Wildoats band of New Braunfels, Buckskins of Pettus, Metheney Brothers, Billy Mata and the Texas Tradition, Moore Country, Hank Stone, Misty Blues and the Country Legends, just to name a few. Roger also performed with several Texas artists such as Darrell McCall, Brian Collins, Curtis Potter, Dotsey, Johnny Rodriguez, Tony Booth, and with Nashville's own, David Frizzell. Roger plays on a Roth violin, using Barcuss Berry pickup and Peavey amplification.
MOST WANTED BAND
Randy Gilliam - Steel Guitar

Randy started playing steel guitar in the mid 70's. He quit for 20 years while his kids were growing up. About 3 years ago, thanks to quick reflexes and the grace of God, he survived being shot in the head during a robbery. His kids were grown up and he realized that life is too short to not be doing what you love and for Randy, it's playing music. He calls the Most Wanted Band his home now but still sits in with other people when he's not playing with us. Randy blew us away the first time we heard him and we knew we had to have him. To steal a line from Harley Dean's drummer, George Orr, "He's like bacon...he just makes everything better."

We're very honored to have Randy. Especially when you look at who all he's played with. He's played along with Johnny Rodriguez, Box Car Willie, Clifton Jansky, Eddie Raven, Hank Stone, David Frizzel, Johnny Lyons, Billy Mata, Barbara Fairchild, Augie Meyers and a whole mess of regional bands. It's pretty cool to be added to his list of artists!
